COMING Fall 2021 - LAWRENCEBURG YOUTH CHOIR

The Lawrenceburg Youth Choir & Children's Choir, under the direction of Meredith Hyatt Lewis, will begin September, 2021 and run through May 2022. It will be open to youth in grades 7-12. Our rehearsal period will be Monday evenings from 6:30-7:45 and will perform a variety of concerts for our community. Our Community Chorus provides youth who love to sing, the opportunity to come together and make music together. Lawenceburg Children's Choir is for students in 1st-5th grade. Both choirs are tuition based programs and are $45 per month. Registration fees cover the cost of our music budget and are a one time fee of $50. Register today! These ensembles will learn vocal techniques, music theory and ensemble singing through a varied repertoire of music and performing opportunities. The Lawrenceburg Children’s Choir will consist of children Grades 1st-5th. Children's Choir will rehearse Mondays from 5:30-6:15 pm September - May. Lawrenceburg Youth Choir will be for students in Grades 7th-12th and will rehearse Mondays from 6:30-7:45 September - May. Children in grades 1-6 will continue with Mrs. Lewis for second semester and end our season in May. Our Our performing opportunities will be for the Lawrenceburg and surrounding communities and we will combine choirs to sing on select music along with performing as individual groups as well.

MISSION

The mission of the Lawrenceburg Children’s Choir & Lawrenceburg Youth Choir is to provide opportunities through choral music education while providing arts entertainment to a variety of audiences. The children of the Lawrenceburg Children & Youth Choirs will serve as ambassadors for the Lawrenceburg Academy of Performing Arts, Inc. and the community of Lawrenceburg as we share the universal language of music.

TUITION

Tuition for Lawrenceburg Children’s Choir & Lawrenceburg Youth Choir is monthly and a student’s participation and financial obligation is for the current year’s term which is September 2021 through May 2022. There is a non-refundable $50.00 registration fee due with your registration form. Registration fee will cover our music budget for the year.
